2nd Annual Fall Fashion Show
Yup! It’s that time of year! The Noty children will be heading out for their first day back to school tomorrow morning! Who is more excited, mom or children?
Ahh, that’s a toss up! 
This week was back to school shopping week. I dread the crowds and the idiots that you innevitably run into during this time of year. To avoid those stresses, we shop after the dinner hour, right before stores are to be closing. It works really well for us.
This year, we decided on the Back To School sales at Khols. I’ve been sooo excited because we finally live near one, and I have really grown to love that store! The selections of clothes for the children were great and the prices were right up our alley. The children look fabulous! I swear, they do. I’m not biased or anything, trust me! 
Today is left for the last minute preparations. A trip to Costco to stock up on lunch supplies. I am one of those mothers who makes their children’s lunches every.single.morning. To make it fun for me, I enjoy drawing cutsie images around their names on their brown paper sacks. More because it mortifies the children, but also because ….. well, it mortifies the children! I know. I’m an evil mommy.
I am so excited for tomorrow morning to come! I can’t stand having to wake up so early in the morning, but, knowing that I will have the house to myself for the first time since 1992 makes me giddy! I can read in peace. I can nap if I want to. I can lunch with my friends, I can hear myself think (that might not be such a good thing though), I can talk on the phone uninterrupted…oh the possibilities are endless! My mind has been whirring non-stop with things I want to do! Ok. I’ll shaddup now.
Oh yea! I can finally use my gift certificate my husband bought me for the spa, too! I can plan a day for a massage and a pedi/mani and be pampered like the princess that I am! Ooh, see, my excitement levels just rose in a huge way!
Ok. I’m shutting up for real now.
