TGIFF – Whoooohaaaaa!
Yes. You read that right and no, I didn’t accidentally put in an extra ‘F’. It was very much on purpose because this week has sucked some major ass. I am so very very glad that it’s fcukin’ friday.
Tonight we are having dinner at my girlfriend’s house with her family. I am really looking forward to that, as it keeps me out of our own house and lately, that just seems to be for the best. Tonight her and I are going to create the banner the football team will run through tomorrow at their first real game. I am so excited to watch TB out there doing his thing in his first game! I volunteered for snack bar duty before the game and that should be wicked fun too. I just love this kind of thing! Right now, I am driving around with a bicycle in my car, one that the coach purchased for us to auction off in order to help raise money for the team. I am truly in my element. The game is early tomorrow morning, which is good since it’s still hellishly hot in this state. I will surely take a nap when we get home too, I’m sure. I’m wiped out.
I will have mucho pictures of TB doing his thing out on the football field after tomorrow morning, and hopefully a post that a) makes more sense and b) is more interesting. I don’t have the energy for either one right now. I could fall asleep right this minute and not wake up until tomorrow morning.
And work? Crazy. Hectic. Godzilla makes me cry but other than that things are good. I love my job and even though it’s rough working full time, I am very lucky to be able to work the hours I do and still be able to be there for my kids.
I know I haven’t done a Sunday Seven in the past couple of weeks. Not because I haven’t been able to find the blessings each week, but more because I’ve had no time to do it. I am going to do one this week, as I’ve many things to feel blessed about. Again, I’m just too tired right now to think that hard. At the moment, I am heading out the door for some relaxation with my friends and my family and then head home to get some sleep before out big day tomorrow.
