Right Before Your Eyes!

Ya missed it, didn’t ya?  I did a quick change, naked, for even a few minutes, right before your eyes, and y’all missed it!  Ha ha ha!

Since May was Jaded Sunburns’ fifth anniversary, and it had been about year since she donned a new template, I thought it was high time to switch things up – again. Hey, five years blogging is quite a mile stone! This is one of the longest, most fulfilling relationships I have ever had! So, I approached the ever talented, most fabulous, entirely too hawt for her own good, Rachel – and begged. I have begged for a Rachel original for years. Finally, I just put my damned order in and viola! Look what I got!

Rachel is so talented. I have watched her design for others for years. I have drooled over her work, for Weblog Design Studios and her own templates in various places on the web. I have yearned for her to design one for me, and with the retro feel I was going for, I knew there was only one designer for me. Rachel’s distinct style comes through in everything she creates, and her creativity seems limitless. I ::pph:: her so so so much!

Perfection. It’s amazing. Don’t you love it? I told her exactly what I wanted, and believe me, I didn’t mince words. Details on what I wanted, and she created exactly what I asked for. The folks at Weblog Design Studios are not only amazing people, but incredibly talented to boot. Doing a blog design for my ass is no easy feat, for real. Between my picky design requests (hope I wasn’t too hard on you Rachel!) and the fact that my blog is a code snob – Dana, I want to kiss you, it certainly is a feat for the Goddesses! Who handled it absolutely beautifully! I am a lucky girl!!

I am in love. I actually drooled some when I woke up this morning to find this glorious surprise!  I might even skip around all day. Yes, skip. That’s how excited I am about the new design.

I know. I am a complete and total dork. Or, as BTP would call me, a fork. Inside joke peeps, don’t worry.  wink

I love new blog smell, don’t you?

Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!  Happy fifth anniversary and new blog design to me!  grin

    It is beautiful!  I love pink and green together, and the black details make it pop. 

    Rachel always does great work.  The first template I bought was one of hers, and she coded the one I’m using now.  I will definitely buy one of hers again.

    This is fabulous!

    OK—I’m confused.  Did you hold up a beach towel while Rachel changed your theme?  I was distracted by the half nekked surfer dude with the strategically placed tattoos coming in with the tide.
