It’s going to be quite a busy month around these parts coming up in April. It seems, so far, that I’ve got something major brewing for every single weekend! What’s a girl to do? Buy shoes. Shoes for every event! I’m so excited.

The first weekend is the big brewhaha for work. This is more work than fun, and I am getting paid to not only be there, but the hours of preparation that I have to put in at home as well, so that’s not too terribly bad. I guess. I still haven’t found a dress, and am about to really give it up. I have a formal-like red dress that I have never even worn yet because of the shortness factor. I was feeling rather confident when I bought it and have since lost that verve I’d had that day. I have thought of pairing it with a pair of black leggings and wearing like a fancy baby doll top with some fantastic red shoes. I dunno, we’ll see. I’m not excited about it at all.

That same weekend, the Sicilian Princess is having her jewelry party! Yay! That is going to be fun because I don’t have to do anything but show up in jeans and a t-shirt and shop for jewelry. Uncle Jerry is coming into town this same weekend as well, and we are planning to get together at some point, during the week I’m sure, and spend some time with him and Aunt Jan as well. I am looking forward to seeing them again, he is such a card!

The following weekend we are heading out to Tucson to visit with Jessimica (my SIL) and party with her at her club down there, Level. That will be a nice weekend away from it all, a time to just relax and chill with sis and have some fab drinks at a fab club run by a fab lady! Of course, I am going to find some new club shoes to wear down there! The more excuses I have to buy shoes, the happier I am! Of course, I’ll write up a review of my visit to Level once I return, just because I love you guys that much!

The weekend after that we’ve got a huge family bbq to attend. While, this one will be relaxing and a fabulous time, I will be having to work hard to prepare. Here, I will have to wear a new pair of flip flops full of summery cuteness, maybe even a new swim suit and cover up just for the heck of it. Come to think of it, I’ve actually got quite a bit of shopping to do this month to correlate with my event calendar!

Jeeze. Too bad I have to waste so much valuable shopping time at work!

I feel like I’ve forgotten something else. I know there is something else, I just can’t put my finger on it. Maybe after another cuppa coffee I’ll remember. In the meantime, I suppose I’d better start getting ready for work. I gotta pay for all of this shopping somehow.
