New Divalicious ‘Do

No, not me silly. My little Bean! She wanted a funky, new ‘do to start 3rd grade with, so, yesterday momma took her to get it done.

It’s one of those that is short and flippy in the back, tapered longer, angled toward her chin, in the front. Her bangs long too, and pulled to the side.

My baby girl is turning into a tween. *sigh*

I never thought I would know as much about Joe Jonas as I do. I hear the songs day and night, even when they aren’t actively playing in the background. They just stay there, slowly driving me insane. I hear his name approximately 30 times in as many minutes all day every day. If she hears that damned Target ad on the tv, she comes running, screeching like something feral, through the house until she reaches the source of her insanity. I swear, she scares me. She needs to stop growing up.

I can’t decide though if this Joe Jonas obsession is better or worse than the whole Barney thing was. Fair comparison? Idk, is your child obsessed with Joe Jonas? If so, you would understand. lol
I wish this on no one.

I bought her very first tween girl mag, Astro Girl, last week at the grocery store. I spotted it, saw her crush on the cover, and handed it to her. I thought she was going to faint in the aisle, as if Joe Jonas himself were standing before her. She is going to be an Oscar winning actress, BTW. Just sayin’. Anyhow, I thought she peed her pants when she started giggling and never stopped. Her older sister helped her tear out the centerfold posters of her faves and plaster them all over her bedroom walls. She walks around with a dreamy look on her face when she is in her room.

I have to admit, I do find it adorable, too. I remember my Teen Beat mags, pictures of Tom Cruise (ashamedly admitting here ppl), Tommy Howell, and Johnny Depp later on. Ok, shaddup, so Johnny Depp still adorns my bedroom walls, you don’t have to judge. If you judge people, you will have no time to love them.  Mother Theresa said that one!

I do believe this is only the beginning folks. I am a little skerd.....my diva in training. My mini me. Ugh.....
