Ok, so Sandra Bullock was my inspiration for my hair cut. I went with a lighter color, as dark colors make me look washed out. I basically wanted her cut, bangs and all, and since my hair is nearly as long as hers is in this picture, I figured I could pull of the soft long layered look. I plan on letting my hair continue to grow long, and this cut will keep it from looking too floppy as it gets longer. I did do away with the half and half red/blonde color I have been sporting for the past year and a half and went with something a little more traditional and not as harsh. Maybe it’s my old age, maybe it’s just because I was bored with the contrast, maybe it’s a combination of the two. Maybe ya’ll would like me to quit rambling and show you the new ‘do already, hu?

Did I tell y’all about the fabulous new shoes I got last weekend when I was supposed to be shopping for my formal dress for the Annual Meeting? OMG they are fantastic! Of course, I had to go and buy a shirt to wear with them because they aren’t the kind of shoes that you can just wear with anything! Look, see for yourselves......

I told you they were fabulous! My new favorite pair for spring. I’d really like to find a pretty yellow spring dress to wear with them too as the yellow and white polka dotted shirt I bought to wear with them will get old eventually.

Oh. My bad. Y’all wanted to see the hair, didn’t ya? And here I went off on another tangent about fabulous shoes. Alright, alright! Check out the new ‘do below the fold. It’s not a great picture of me, but it’s the best I could do under the stress I’ve been under........

Nevermind the fact that my face is much rounder than Sandra’s and my hair isn’t professionally styled when I leave the house. I do my best peeps, I really do.  lol
