No, really. I have learned a lot of valuable things over the past few weeks and I thought it high time to share it with y’all, yanno? Ok. So, I haven’t been the most faithful blogger as of late. I understand. But....how do I put this...have y’all ever had that “not so fresh feeling”? Srsly. That’s the way I have felt about my blog for some time. I kind of look at it like I look at a new hair do. Can totally change your attitude and outlook in no time flat.

Well damn. Lookie there. My blog has a new ‘do, therefore bringing me a breath of fresh air.

On with the show folks, buckle up.

I have learned, here recently, a few new talents I thought I’d share with y’all. You know me. Forever divulging a plethora of totally useless information. Well, here we go again. The ever-sought-after list of bits of wisdom Jade has stumbled upon as of late.

• I have learned to multitask to the highest of levels. Maybe not 100% successfully all of the time, but I have even blown my own mind here recently.
  
• I have learned the art of being quiet. Oh yes. Me. Jade. Meela. Quiet. Sorta just comes along now days, without much force or effort on my part. Just seems the best way most times, and frankly, leaves nothing for the other party to stab you with later. Am I getting old? If you love me you will also begin your practice of quietness right now...thxk.
  
• I have learned, the hard way, the true meaning of “ass” in assumption. I think I’ve found that it originates in the hells of self doubt, therefore causing you to project your own feelings upon another. If that other has the same issues of self doubt, you might as well be throwing a molotov cocktail on a romantic bon fire.
  
• Sadly, I have texted while driving. *i know God plz forgive me*
  
• I have learned that I am helplessly addicted to technology. Blindly, hopelessly, and horribly addicted to technology.  Worse than cigarettes. I know, pray for me ppl. Plz.
  
• I have also learned how to put my hair up in a pony tail while holding the cell phone in one of my hands. You know, in case a text comes through. Hi. My name is Melia (Jade) and I am addicted to technology.  Did I mention that?
  
• I learned that life experience is golden, and that hope and faith are everything.
• I have learned the joy of watching my daughters put on lip gloss and develop their first crushes.

• I have learned the happiness of teaching my son new things and watching him learn and appreciate.
• I learned how to observe and respond. Due to the lesson of learning how to be quiet. Sometimes, you learn much more by silently standing by, than you do when in the midst of the crowd.
• I have also learned that, no matter how dark the place is that I go from time to time, I always have that little pocket full of sunshine that I call upon to talk me down from every ledge.
