Raising daughters in this image conscious society is difficult at best. Body image is a HUGE issue, even for those of us who are fully grown. I found this little ditty online yesterday and I emailed it to my daughter, her friends, my friends with daughters, so on and so forth.
Pass it along. It’s interesting when you really get to see how big of a lie models really and truly are these days. Before all of the technology we have that allows us to airbrush, fix and fix up women, models actually had to be pretty. Now days, not so much. Not that this young lady in the example isn’t beautiful, mind you.
